This intermediate level course is the next class in exploring fabrication techniques and the skills to use them. Participants will have completed the INTRODUCTORY MAKERSPACE STUDIO course and will continue to explore and tinker using both low and high tech tools. This course will focus on 3-D printing and electronics. We will work with 3-D modeling software to design objects to print, learning how to modify and refine the designs, optimizing them for 3-D printing. Students will then delve into electronics and learn the basics of electricity and electronic circuits. Projects will involve designing and building functional devices, acquiring the necessary skills to create working circuits.
