A Persian miniature is a richly detailed miniature painting. These delicate, lush paintings are visually stunning, with an amazing level of detail. Inspired by the stories of 1001 Nights, this workshop will dive into literary fantasy and the myths and creative arts of the Middle East and South Asia. To better understand and appreciate the world cultures studied, each student will create a series of small canvases based on stories they enjoy most.
