In this four-session, hands-on workshop students will make a shake table and explore earthquake engineering!

Earthquake engineering is the design, development, and production of earthquake-resistant structures. In this class, students will build a shake table and investigate the effects of lateral movement on structures. We will use the engineering process to create models of earthquake-resistant designs and test them out on our shake tables.

All supplies for class are included in your specially curated kit available for pick up the week before the session begins.

This program runs four Mondays 10:30-12:00 from February 1st through March 1st (no class February 15). A non refundable deposit of $75 is included in the full tuition of $140.00
