Training-Free Tools
Most tools require training before you’re able to use them independently, but some tools require no training and you’re free to dive into them! If you’d like a hand getting started, come to Open Hack to ask your community to support you learning how to use these tools.
Communal Spaces
Our communal areas are accessible to members 24/7, and to the public during our community events. All areas should be maintained and tidied once you’re done spending time at Technocopia.

Reception & Lounge
When you first enter the Makerspace, you’ll see our reception and lounge area. The reception desk functions to buzz guests up to the makerspace, and the lounge is great for being able to hang out or wait for classes to start.

Work Tables
In the center of the Makerspace is a large work area that is the primary hang out area for folks, especially during Open Hack. This area is great for communal making, or spreading out when you’re working on a project.

Kitchen
The kitchen has some basic utilities for keeping yourself fed during a long project day. Take note of the Kitchen Rules posted on the Door and Fridge! Personal and Communal food needs to be labeled with Name and Date.

Classroom
For any classes that have a focus on needing presentation capabilities or for teaching software, we have a classroom available. Some of our community events also take place in here for it’s access to the table setup.
The Printer’s Building in Downtown Worcester Massachusetts
Technocopia is located in the historic Printer’s Building in our city’s downtown. Being so close to our city center means that there are many options for residents in Worcester to access the space via public transit or walking.
For car access, we have some options available including street parking, a building parking lot with limited times available, and a library around the corner from us that does validated parking.
Our building is home to an array of organizations, all doing cool things and sometimes our collaborators! Take a look at our blog post to learn about the history of our building, and to see some of the cool folks that are our neighbors!
