What is Technocopia?

Technocopia is a  non-profit "makerspace"  for artisans, hobbyists, entrepreneurs and professionals to learn, share, collaborate, create and work. Located in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts,  Technocopia celebrates a wide range of technology, culture, craft, and education. We host Tool Trainings, Classes and Artisan Workshops which are open to both Technocopia members and to the public. Our 12,000 sq foot facility offers common work space, rental bays, education and membership for adults and youth, and a variety of shared tools and machine shops such as: a complete wood shop, metal shop, 3d printer station, electronics bay, textile studio, glass flameworking shop, classroom, design studio, and our CNC router and laser cutter shop.

What is a makerspace?

A makerspace is a community-operated, often "not for profit" (501(c)(3), creative workspace where people with common interests (such as arts, culture, technology, science, computers or electronics) can meet, socialize, collaborate, learn, create and be a maker.
